H 사이버대학교 아동학과의 교육과정 개선을 위한 연구

A Study on Curriculum Improvement in the Dept. of Child Studies of H Cyber University

본 연구는 급변하는 사이버교육 환경에 대비하고 학생 요구 및 새로운 수요자 특성을 반영한 H 사이버대학교 아동학과의 교육과정 개선에 기여하고자 수행되었다. 이를 위해 먼저, 현재 H 사이버대학교 아동학과의 교육과정을 학문적 기준으로 분석하고 자격증 현황을 조사하여 H 사이버대학교 아동학과 교육과정의 전문성 및 실용성 확보 여부를 검토하고자 하였다. 구체적으로, H 사이버대학교 아동학과를 포함한 우리나라 4년제 사이버대학교 아동학 관련 학과 및 전 공의 교육과정 및 자격증 현황을 조사하였다. 교육과정은 아동학 학문 범위에 근거하여 아동발달, 아동보육 및 교육, 가족 및 상담, 기타로 분류하였으며, 자격증 및 수료증 개설 현황을 함께 조사하였다. 한편, 재학생 및 신규 수요자의 요구 탐색을 위해 향후 개설 희망 교과목 등의 설문을 실시하여 학습자 중심 교육과정의 또 다른 지향점을 확보하고자 하였다. 마지막으로 이러한 자료들을 토대로 H 사이버대학교 아동학과의 향후 교육과정의 개선 방향을 제안하였다.

This study sought to contribute to curriculum improvement of the Dept. of Child Studies & Education of H Cyber University. Firstly, the curricula and certificate courses of departments relating to child studies at six cyber universities in Korea were investigated. We categorized curriculum subjects using the following criteria: Child Development, Child Care & Education, Family & Counseling, and Others. Also, the many different kinds of certificates that could be acquired through the curricula and courses were explored. Meanwhile, the necessity and usefulness of curriculum subjects were reviewed using questionnaire surveys of the students of H Cyber University, childcare teachers, and directors. Finally, we provided some suggestions to enhance curriculum quality and to ensure student satisfaction.
