농촌지역노인 주거만족 결정요인 연구

지금까지 진행되어온 노인주거에 관한 연구를 검토해 볼 때 아직 우리나라의 노인주거에 관한 폭넓은 연구는 미흡한 실정이며 특히 농촌지역 노인에 대한 주거환경개선에 관한 연구는 전무하거나 극히 미약한 실정이다. 이 연구는 경험적 자료의 분석을 통하여 농촌노인들의 주거환경 실태를 파악하고 농촌노인들의 주거만족도에 미치는 요인들을 탐색해 보고자 수행되었다. 전북의 농촌지역 노인들을 대상으로 자료를 수집하여 분석한 결과, 사정이 허락하면 가장 먼저 고치고 싶은 곳으로는 화장실, 난방시설, 부엌등에 많은 응답이 집중되었으며 집 주변에 꼭 있었으면 하는 것으로는 목욕탕, 상점, 병원 등의 순으로 나타났다. 살고 싶은 주택형태로는 단독주택이 아파트에 비해 월등하게 선호되고 있는 것으로 나타났다. 응답자의 ‘주거만족’의 정도에 통계적으로 유의한 영향을 미친 변수들은 응답자의 주관적 건강상태, 목욕시설 유무 등이 유의하게 나타났다.

This study mainly deals with the residential problems of senior citizens in rural areas in Korea. This study analyzes survey data from rural areas, which has been conducted for those older than 65. Statistical analysis show several findings. First and foremost, the respondents s needs for house repair are focused upon bathrooms, heating systems, and kitchens in order of priority. What they need around their residences are public baths, grocery stores, and hospitals. Finally those variables which influence respondents level of residential satisfaction include respondents subject level of health and conditions of bath rooms. Some implications are suggested based upon these findings.
