대학신입생의 인간관계와 대학적응의 관계

The Relation between Human Relations and Freshmen Adjustment

본 연구는 대학신입생을 대상으로 가족관계, 교우관계, 선배관계, 교수관계와 대학적응과의 관계를 살펴보고자 이를 위해 경기지역의 대학신입생 1277명에게 실시한 실태조사 문항 중 인간관계에 대한 문항과 대학적응도 검사 척도를 독립표본검증, 중다회귀 분석과 이원변량분석을 이용하여 분석하였다. 연구결과 첫째, 가족이 화목하다고 지각한 대학신입생이 대학적응을 더 잘 하는 것으로 나타났다. 둘째, 교우관계가 원만하다고 지각하는 대학신입생이 대학적응점수가 더 높게 나타났다. 셋째, 선배관계가 친밀하다고 지각하는 대학신입생이 대학적응을 더 잘하는 것으로 나타났다. 넷째, 교수관계가 친밀하다고 지각하는 대학신입생의 대학적응이 더 쉬운 것으로 나타났다. 다섯째, 인간관계가 대학적응에 미치는 영향을 살펴본 결과 교우 관계, 가족관계, 선배관계, 교수관계 순으로 대학적응에 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 마지막으로 대학적응에 대한 가족관계와 교수관계와의 상호작용 효과가 나타나 가족이 화목하지 않다고 지각하더라도 교수와 더 많이 친밀하다고 지각하는 대학신입생은 대학적응을 잘 하는 것으로 나타났다. 이상의 연구결과는 대학신입생의 적응을 이해하는데 있어 가족관계, 교우관계, 선배관계, 교수관계의 관련성을 이해하는데 도움이 될 것이라 기대한다.

The objective of this study was to examine how the adaptation to university life varies according to how each freshmen perceives one’s own relationship with one’s family, colleagues, seniors and professors. The results of this study are summarized as follows. First, the students who perceived their relationship with family harmonious showed that they are well-adjusted to university life. Second, the students who perceived their relationship with colleagues friendly showed that they are well-adjusted to university life. Third, the students who perceived their relationship with seniors close showed that they are well-adjusted to university life. Fourth, the students who perceived their relationship with professors close showed that they are well-adjusted to university life. Fifthly, colleagues relationship, family relationship, seniors relationship and professor relationship influenced freshmen adjustment in order. Finally, though the students who perceived their relationship with family not harmonious in effect of interaction between family relation and professor relation, it showed that the students who perceived relationship with their professors close are well-adjusted to university life. In conclusion, the result of this research would lead to understand how the relationship with one’s family, colleagues, seniors and professors are related as for understanding the adaptation of freshmen to university life.
