A Study on the Improvement Plan for Re-settlement of Native Residents: Hannam New Town Case

1. CONTENTS (1) RESEARCH OBJECTIVES This study is aim to research and propose the way to re-settle for native residents of New Town Project. It is not easy to come back to their home town after the development. Therefore, this research is aiming at finding out the problems by surveying to Hannam new town as a case study and give suggestions to let native citizens come back to their home town. (2) RESEARCH METHOD As for the methodology of this research, analyzed the pilot cases of new town project to find out problems and suggestions. And having a survey to Hannam area residents for what they think about and what they want for new town project. (3) RESEARCH FINDINGS Even though Hannam area is one of the closest to Kangnam area by geographically and similar to Kangnam area for economical level among Kangbuk areas, what the native citizens want to come back after newtown project is almost similar with other newtown projdect area. What they want is that sharing the profit of new town with native residents, financial supporting to native residents for coming back to this new town, and making various of housing styles that people can choose. 2. RESULTS To improve the ratio of resettlement for native residents, sharing the profit of new town development with native residents, financial supporting to native residents for coming back to this new town, and making various of housing styles that people can choose.
