On-line Learner s Satisfaction and Learning Persistence

사이버 대학원생의 학업만족도와 학업지속의향에 미치는 영향에 관한 연구

Since the first cyber universities were established in Korea in 2001, online education has grown to include a broad range of ages and various fields. In fact, the success of online learning led to the establishment of the online graduate schools in 2010. Feedback regarding the needs and satisfaction of the first generation of graduate students has been forthcoming and will be useful for online universities to further develop curriculums and educational programs. In this regard, this study analyzed the satisfaction and learning persistence levels of online graduate students in relation to psychological characteristics and scholastic environments. The results found that the most important factor for learner satisfaction was the Actional Environment whereas the most influential factor for learning persistence was Academic Vision

2001년부터 시작된 사이버 대학의 성공적 운영에 힘입어 2010년 사이버 대학원이 처음으로 설립 되었다. 이들을 위한 효과적인 교육 과정과 프로그램을 구축하기 위해서는 사이버 대학원생들의 욕구와 만족을 분석할 필요가 있다. 본 연구는 사이 버 대학원생의 심리적 특성과 학교환경 특성이 학업만족도와 학업지속의향에 얼마 나 영향을 미치는지 분석하였다. 본 연구의 목적을 달성하기 위하여 사이버 대학원 생을 대상으로 실증조사를 실시한 결과, 작용적환경이 학업만족도에 미치는 영향이 가장 컸고, 전공비전이 학업지속의향에 미치는 영향이 가장 컸다.
