노인인권교육의 현황과 과제

The Current Situation and Tasks of Senior Citizens Human Rights Education

본 연구에서는 노인인권교육의 개념 및 선행연구를 고찰하고 노인인권교육이 어떻게 이루어지고 있으며, 이를 근거로 노인인권교육의 향후 과제에 대해 모색하였다. 노인인권교육의 법적 근거를 국가인권위원회법, 사회복지사업법, 노인복지법, 노인장기 요양보험법에서 찾을 수 있었으며, 이의 수행기관 및 사업은 국가인권위원회, 한국보건 복지인력개발원, 한국노인복지중앙회, 한국노인종합복지관협회 등을 통해 살펴보았 다. 노인인권교육의 활성화 방안으로 노인인권교육 대상 및 기회의 확대, 맞춤형 노인 인권교육 프로그램 개발, 다양한 노인인권 교육방법의 활용, 노인 인권교육 전문인력 양성, 노인인권교육의 법적 근거 마련 등이 제시되었다.

The purpose of the study is to review the concept and prior studies of senior citizens human rights education and to explore its tasks. The legal foundations for senior citizens rights education were National Human Rights Commission Act, Social Welfare Act, Aged Welfare Act, and Long-Term Care Insurance Act. Relevant agencies and services of senior citizens human rights education were examined through the National Human Rights Commission of Korea, the Korea Human Resource Development Institute for Health & Welfare, the Korea Central Council of Senior Welfare Facilities, and the Korea Association of Senior Welfare Centers. For activation of senior citizens human rights education, the expansion of education targets and opportunities, customized education program development, application of diverse senior citizens human rights education methods, fostering specialized manpower, and the enactments of the legal basis for senior citizens human rights education were provided.
