Application of Forensic Hypnosis in Scientific Criminal Investigation

본 연구는 과학수사에 있어 법최면의 보다 폭 넓은 활용을 도모함을 목적으로 하였다. 이를 위해 과학수사에 있어서의 제 방법에 대한 비교 고찰을 통하여 범죄의 상황전개에 최적화된 과학수사방법의 모델링이 필요함을 제기하였다. 범죄의 물증이 없고 외상후 스트레스 장애(PTSD) 등으로 범죄당시의 정황과 범인의 단서정보를 기억하지 못하는 범죄사건의 과학적 수사를 위하여 피해자나 목격자의 기억을 회상시키는 방법인 법최면에 대하여 살펴보았으며, 활용상의 문제점 및 개선방안을 제시하였다.

This work is aimed at implementing a more extensive utilization of forensic hypnosis in scientific criminal investigation. The necessity of modelling in adopting the most proper scientific criminal investigation method in the real criminal situations are suggested using comparison and analysis of scientific criminal investigation methods for this. In many cases, memory of victim and eyewitness are unable to recall details of a crime due to PTSD. Therefore, the recall of the victims and eyewitnesses using forensic hypnosis was studied. In this study, the use of forensic hypnosis in scientific criminal investigations is analyzed, problems are explained and solutions are suggested.
