Through a survey of “the understanding of Korea-Japan communication” classes, the study attempts to examine the responses and directions of communications related to the correspondence of students and Japanese culture regarding the Japanese language. Although many students had a high percentage of Japanese thought to learn Japanese language(They want to learn Japanese, Japanese will be easy to learn) before learning Japanese, they became to realize that Japanese language was harder to learn than expected, especially kanji in Japanese language after learning it. More than 70 percent of respondents said that they felt friendly toward Japanese culture. In terms of new knowledge regarding class contents, first of all, they gave examples for the consensual behavior between Korea-Japan in verbal gestures and the difference of topic speech behavior in the first encounter. In nonverbal behavior, they said that there were a sense gap between Korea, Japan and the differences of touch behavior. From the actual operation of the classes we need to study the class contents that help us to improve communication ability of students and to develop curriculum textbooks suitable for communication classes.
