The purpose of this study was to investigate the training system for vocational trainer in U.S, to present implication for Korea. Currently, The number of trainee in vocational training and vocational training market has been increasing. But the supply of vocational trainer has been decreasing, so the shortage of vocational trainer became a critical issue in U.S. To solve this problems, U.S government execute alternative route for vocational trainer, which makes it possible for experts in industry to become a vocational trainer. But there are some criticism that an alternative route cause a lack of teaching skill. Based on the new findings, implications for Korea were presented.
