성별 및 장애부위에 따른 시설이용 만족도에 대한 차이 연구

A Study on the Differences in the Facility Satisfaction Index upon a Gender and Part of Disability - A Special Case of C City, Gyeongnam -

The purpose of this study was to investigate the degree of satisfaction of the users of internal and external facilities, specially the physically challenged living in C City Gyeongnam. 218 people with disability were selected. These participants were those who belong to Welfare Center for Disabled, General Social Welfare Centeror Association of Disabled at Home, living in C City Gyeongnam. Frequency analysis, independent sample t test, and one-way ANOVA were conducted using SPSS 18.0 package. Results from the study indicate that facility users were least satisfied with the facility. It is important to note that males were more satisfied than females were. This implies that more consideration for the disabled women is necessary. Of particular attention should be given to underpass and overpass knob, handle and width of the door, corridor and passage, the slope of the stair, the escalator and elevator, the location of restroom, and the handle and tilt of access. In addition, it was found that when designing and building the facilities, it is critical to consider such factors as their gender and part of disability.
