In this study, welding properties of dissimilar materials between SPCC and STS430J1L were evaluated by GMA welding proces s with changing of ratio of mixture. Mechanic al properties were evaluated through tensile test, micro hardness test and bending test. Appearance of bead was the most beautiful and the number of spatters were happened least, when using the mixture of Ar 98% + O2 2% and flow rate of 10 or 15ℓ/min. In the result of the tensile test, specimen was broken at the substrate of SPCC regardless of the ratio of the mixture. The more component ratio of the O2 gas increased, t he more micro hardness of DMZ decreased.
