It is in seri ous condition that environmental pollution caused by combustion from industrial machinery, pl ant equipment, etc., Pollut ion emitted f rom various furnaces whic h are widely used in manufacturing compan ies like heat treatment, p ottery etc., is also in serious level. In indust rial si tes, these fur naces are being replaced by gas-fired furnaces in which gas fuel is used as c lean fuel, theref ore fl ame stabiliza tion of gas-fired furnace s are important to achieve their high efficiency. To stabili ze flam es, tools are used, and the ways are to us e circulating flow, pilot flame, red-hot solid surfa ce, the catal yst an d the like. For t his st udy a new typ e of turning combustor wit h circulating flow is produced and we exami ned the combustibility of the inter nal combustio n chamber with it and the data is used to develop high efficiency fu rnaces. As for temperatu re of combusti on chamber inside, we found that flame which has a less equivalence rate appears that its temperat ure of the ce nter ranges higher, and is closer downstream, it gets equivalent temperat ure distribution. If turnin g angle 30˚ d an 6 0 ˚ both have increased turning intensity, the temperature seems to spread fast in the direction of the wall. Turning angl e 60˚ showed a more stable temperature distribution to the axis. This s tudy can be used usefull y to design hig h-efficiency heating systems.
