Air navigation training equipment using general purpose RF Signal generator has been designed. This training equipment is composed of transmitting part which transmits simulated air navigation signal, and also composed of receiving part which receives and processes the transmitted signal. General purpose RF signal generator generates simulated air navigation signal with additional navigation signal modulating kit. Receivers receive the air navigation signal and indicates its status in the indicator just as indicated in real cockpit indicator. Maximum transmitting signal level has to be investigated to prevent the receiver from the damage in a small space of the laboratory. Optimum transmitting signal level has been investigated to operate this training equipment in the laboratory environment.
