This research is to evaluate the effect of sunshine treatment on crack propagation rate for APAL patched with AFRP in Al 6061 alloy plate. APAL specimens were processed by autoclave curing system under the constant condition of curing temperature, time and aluminum surface pretreatment. APAL can be widely used for the repair of the damage part of the aircraft. Crack length of AFRP patched surface and non-patched surface can be measured by using Fractomat Krak gage. And Effects of sunshine treatment on APAL 0°/90° and ±45° were invesgated
