Power line communication transmitting electric energy and data for communication to a power line at the same time is being gradually used much in the industrial automation field and shows a property coinciding well with fusion technology that is big flow of recent IT technology. Power lines are being more widely laid than communication lines in the industrial field, so if power line communication is used, there is an advantage that can economically and efficiently utilize in various power equipment s wire communications without laying separate communication lines. The present thesis manufactured motor control and communication interface circuits consisted of REM(Remote) Board capable of remotely monitoring operating conditions of motors at a central control panel, LCP(Local Control Panel) Board controlling motors in the field and MCC(Motor Control Center) Board controlling motors actually by selecting a NC-PLCD model of NEOTICS Company among power line communication modules and realized a motor control system using power line communication by designing communication protocol. If the present system is applied, it can be applied to a communications network for power control, control of various power devices and various automation systems, etc.
