와이어컷 방전가공기(JW-640C)를 이용한 플라스틱 금형용 강재(KP4)의 최적 가공 조건에 관한 연구

In the Wire Electro Discharge Machining, the optimal cutting conditions setting satisfying the requirements of both high efficiency and good quality is very difficult, because it s process involves a series of complex physical phenomena and the cutting conditions are numerous over diverse range. In this paper, the experimental investigation with KP4 has been performed to find out the influence of optimal cutting conditions on the cutting speed and surface roughness. The selected cutting conditions for this experiment are cutting electric current, main puls and sub puls, wire tensions. Cutting speed is improved as IP become higher and wire tension become increased until 15[N]. To improve cutting performance with KP4, wire tension fixed with 15[N] and higher cutting electric current, main puls and sub puls until wire disconnection are the optimal cutting conditions.
