In this experimental study, the distance-responsiveness of Smoke detectors show that the detectors response time have very considerable relationships between distance from smoke and detecters stance. The smoke detector has a very quick response when the smoke maker is located just under the smoke detector. But the smoke maker is moved aside approximately 10cm below the smoke detector, the smoke detector works slowly more than about 30times. So every building needs to install more detectors for rapid detect fire. Therefore we need more studies about correlation in detectors operating environment by every officials for protect human life and their insurance and for more rapid fire detections.
