This paper researched the characteristics according to the distance of the antenna array of spatial power combiners which located in a short distance. For analyzing the characteristics of array for the spatial power combiner which consists of the directional-horn antenna and microstrip patch antenna. Adjust the spacing between the patch and the patch, and transmit and receive antenna and amplification unit distance of the array antenna has changed. Design frequency of 10 ㎓, patch spacing of array antenna was adjusted to ?狼哲索? , amplifier section was fixed to the 3X3 array, From array antenna of Amplifer section, distance of transmit and receive horn antenna varied from 1mm to 30 mm by 1mm. Simulation results, the maximum gain appeared when distance of antenna is 14㎜, 30㎜. according to the variation of the distance on S11 showed a maximum of 24.34, S21 is 5.98㏈. Therefore, S21 of spatial power combiners, depending on the antenna distance and the array method appeared a lot of difference. As a result, to get the maximum power gain for the spatial power combiner, the distance the directional-horn antenna and microstrip patch antenna must be selected carefully.
