PLA와 PET섬유의 분산염료 염착거동 연구

A Study on Dyeing Behavior of PLA and PET Dyed with Disperse Dyestuff

PLA fiber has hydrophobic property but, less that compared to PET fiber. Moreover, it is expected to be an important high quality material in the future due to its softness, human-friendliness by bio-degradation. Because of its structure of crystalline aliphatic series like PET, PLA fiber has a similar property as PET fiber s. After comparing PLA and PET while dyeing each of them with disperse dyestuff, the overall results were observed as below, 1. When dyeing them with disperse dyestuff, PLA generally had lower absorbance of dyestuff compared to PET. On the other hand, when dyeing them with dyestuff that was left, PLA typically had higher absorbance than PET. From these results, we could know that PLA has a low dyeing affinity. 2. As dyeing each fiber with 3-combination colors, concentrations, and groups, PLA was found to have higher reflectance compared to PET. From this experiment, we could drive a conclusion that PLA has a low dyeing affinity. 3. When step-dyeing both PLA and PET, each color strength was found out to be different from the other. Therefore, group of disperse dyestuff with good comparability is not always correspond to both fibers.
