전단모드하에서 전기유변유체의 실험적 특성 연구

Experimental Study on the Characteristics of Electro-Rheological Fluid Under Shear Mode

This thesis presents characteristics of commonly used electro-rheological fluid (ER fluid) which is varying according to the intensity of electric field in terms of shear mode. To investigate its property of shear stress, by using private labeled viscometer, shear stress under certain circumstance is measured. Firstly, design factors of viscometer are determined to guarantee that tangential velocity of ER fluid in viscometer is linearly proportional to the radius from rotation axis. For the experiment, The most widely commercialized the three ER fluid and self-made fluid ER fluid was used. By the change of the electric field and electrode gap were studied experimentally.
