In this study, the purpose of this thesis was to investigate the welding characteristics and the Mechanical Properties behavior of titanium-alloy(JIS H4605 Class 13), commonly using power station, aircraft and ship. The experimented material was TIG welded in order to look over the characteristics according to the notch position and compare with other materials. The tensile strength and elongation of the 5 pass at primary shielding gas welded specimens was shown about lower than those of the non-welded specimens at the same welding conditions. The hardness distribution of the 5 pass at 5ℓ/min and 10ℓ/min primary shielding gas welded specimens was lower than those of the non-welded specimens at the same welding conditions. The absorption energy of the 5 pass at 5ℓ/min and 10ℓ/min primary shielding gas welded specimens was lower than those of the non-welded specimens at the same welding conditions.
