A Study for Velocity and Pressure Loss according to the Volume Damper Angle in the Rectangular Duct

This study is to present the variation of wind velocity and pressure by the revolution number change of the blower and the open rate of the volume damper in rectangular duct. The consequences of this study is useful to measure precise air content which needs in the diffuser of the air conditioning unit in buildings and industries. The analysis result of this experimental data is that the static pressure is high at the entrance and very low at the exit. The dynamic pressure is high at the inlet part and low at both the entrance and the exit. Total pressure in the duct becomes low as the open rate of the duct grows bigger.
