CO 2 아-크 용접에서 가스 유량 및 용접 속도에 따른 용접성 연구

A Study on the Weldability with Gas Flow and Welding Speed for the CO 2 Arc Welding

In this study, the effect of the flow rate of CO2 gas as the shielding gas on the weldability of the SS41 steel in the CO 2 gas arc welding process was examined experimentally. The welding characteristics due to the flow rate of CO 2 gas were investigated through the visual test for the beads, and the mechanical properties of the welding joints were evaluated through to the tension test, the bend test and the hardness test, and the microstructure of welding joints were observed to understand the heat effect by optical microscope. As the result, the external view of the bead was good and the mechanical properties as tensile strength, hardness, and bending strength were excellent when the flow rate of CO 2 gas is 15ℓ/min, and the welding condition; Welding current 300A, welding voltage 31V, and welding velocity 40㎝/min.
