In order to get information necessary for a development of highly efficient hybrid sealing, the structure, the material, and the contract method of the existing OEM sealing product were investigated. The results are listed below. The sealing consists of a wire, a plate, a tooth, an anti-swirl, and a body. The anti-swirl and the body of the sealing are manufactured as integrated parts. The body and the anti-swirl parts of the sealing are made of low alloy heat resisting steel, and they are used after the annealing treatment. Martensitic heat resisting steel, SUS410, was used to make the tooth part of the sealing and it is used after the successive treatment of quenching and tempering. The plate part of the sealing was made of SUS 410 martensitic stainless steel, that contains 1.5% Co, 0.8% Ni, 0.4% W, and 0.14% Cu; and it is used after the successive treatment of quenching and tempering. The wire is made of Co-based super heat resisting alloy steel, and it is used after the successive treatment of quenching and tempering.
