The Corrosion Characteristics of Absorption Refrigeration and Hot Water System

Recently, as the rapid development in the industries such as vehicles, ships and computer, there occurs in corrosion damages due to the various corrosive environment. This study on the corrosion characteristics and its protection of absorption refrigeration and hot water system in LiBr solution and cold, hot fresh water is requested. The absorption refrigeration and hot water system applies SS400(carbon steel) to outer shell and AI-Ni bronze alloy to tube and tube sheet of heat exchanger in order to improve heat transfer capacity, Also as heat exchanger tube is paired with shell tube sheet galvanic corrosion may be occured, On this study, to investigate on the corrosion characteristics and its control of absorption refrigeration and hot water system. The electrochemical polarization test using potentiostat galvanostat apparatus is carry out.
