This paper presents new manufacturing method of the Planar inverted-F antenna on the rear case of portable device to improve the characteristic of the mobile antenna of portable device. As a new manufacturing method We designed PPA(Pad Printing Antenna). PPA process has two part, first is pad printing process and second is plating process. We designed and fabricated, in this paper, media-FLO and gps antenna on the surface of the rear case for the mobile phone handset that can be provided multiple mobile services by PPA.. It s shown that this antenna satisfies service bands as media-FLO/GPS, and is more cost competitive than conventional metal plate pressing method by PPA. Measured peak gain on each band were -3.0 and -4.0dBi, and radiation patterns were also nearly omnidirectional on each band.
