Emotional Evaluation for the Autotransmission Shift Lever Noise Using the Sound Quality

According to the demand of higher quality of recent cars, better quality of cars in emotion are getting required to have a competitiveness. Specially, better sound quality of cars is one of key parts of emotional evaluation including the auto transmission shift lever noise. The objective evaluation method for the auto transmission shift lever noise is decided based on the subjective evaluation method by the jury test. In this paper, we propose a method for analyzing sound quality characteristics(Loudness, Sharpness, Roughness) of the operational sound generated automobile auto transmission shift lever in each gear position. And this study is looking for a noise sensitivity line in the vehicle models used the experiment, using linear regression equations.
