대학 신입생의 진로결정수준과 진로준비행동의 관계에서 자기표현의 조절효과

The Relationship between Career Decision Level and Career Preparation Behavior of College Freshmen: Moderation Effect of Self-Expression

본 연구는 대학 신입생의 진로결정수준과 진로준비행동의 관계에서 자기표현의 조절효과를 살펴보고자 하였다. 이를 위하여 2017년 5월 1일부터 10월 25일까지 부산광역시와 경기도 소재의 4년제 대학 2곳에 재학 중인 신입생 217명을 연구대상으 로 하여, 진로결정수준 척도와 진로준비행동 척도, 자기표현 척도를 사용하여 조사 하였다. 연구대상들의 인구통계학적 특성을 알아보기 위해 빈도분석을 실시하였으며, 사용된 진로결정수준, 진로준비행동, 자기표현을 통한 자기표현 행위의 신뢰도를 알아보기 위해 Chronbach’s a 계수를 산출하였다. 기술통계 분석을 통해 사용된 변인들의 평균 및 표준편차를 확인하였으며, 연구문제 검증을 위해 상관분석, 위계적 회귀분석을 실시하였다. 본 연구의 결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 진로결정수준과 자기 표현, 자기표현과 진로준비행동, 진로결정수준과 진로준비행동 간에 유의미한 정적 상관이 있는 것으로 나타났다. 둘째, 대학 신입생의 진로결정수준과 진로준비행동 간의 관계에서 자기표현이 조절변인으로써 역할을 하는 것으로 나타났다. 이상의 연구 결과는 신입생을 대상으로 하는 상담 및 교육을 통하여 진로준비행동을 촉진할수 있는 개입을 위한 기초자료를 제공한다는 점에서 의의가 있다.

The purpose of this study was to investigate the moderating effect of self-expression on the relationship between career decision level and career preparation behavior of college freshmen. For this purpose, 217 freshmen attending two 4-year universities in Busan metropolitan city and Gyeonggi-do Province were surveyed, and their career decision level, career preparation behavior, self-expression were measured. A frequency analysis was conducted to examine the demographic characteristics of the subjects, and Chronbach s α was calculated to determine the reliability of the self-expression behavior through career decision level, career preparation behavior, and self-expression used. The descriptive statistics analysis were used to verify mean and standard deviation of variables used, and correlation analysis and hierarchical regression analysis were conducted to verify the research problems. The results of this study are as follows. First, there was a significant positive correlation between career decision level and self-expression, between self-expression and career preparation behavior, and between career decision level and career preparation behavior. Second, the moderating effect of self-expression was significant in the relationship between career decision level and career preparation behavior. From the above results, it is meaningful that this provides basic information for intervention that can facilitate career preparation behavior through counseling and education for college freshmen.
