고성능 환자 모형과 표준화 환자를 결합한 간호 시뮬레이션 교육의 효과

Effects of Simulation Education using a High-Fidelity Simulator Combined with Standard Patient

본 연구는 고성능 환자 모형과 표준화 환자를 결합하여 간호 시뮬레이션 교육이 간호대학생의 의사소통 능력, 문제해결 능력, 셀프리더십에 미치는 효과를 확인하였다. 연구 대상자는 S지역 1개 대학교 4학년 2학기 간호대학생으로 실험군은 노인간호학 이론 및 임상실습을 수강하고 고성능 환자 모형과 표준화 환자를 결합한 간호 시뮬레이션 교육을 제공받은 34명, 대조군은 노인간호학 이론 및 임상실습을 수강하고 고성능 환자 모형 시뮬레이션 교육을 제공받은 32명이었다. 자료수집 기간은 2015년 10월 5일부터 2015년 12월 21일까지이며, 자료 분석은 SPSS WIN 21.0 Program을 이용하였다. 본 연구 결과, 문제해결 능력은 실험군이 대조군보다 통계적으로 유의하게 높았으며(p<.005), 실험군은 전후점수의 차이에서도 유의하게 높았다.(p=.042). 셀프리더십에서 실험군과 대조군은 통계적으로 유의한 차이가 없었으나, 실험군은 전후점수의 차이에서 유의하게 높았다(p=.028). 실제 노인 간호현장을 기반으로, 고성능 환자 모형과 표준화 환자를 결합한 간호 시뮬레이션 교육을 개발하 여, 문제해결 능력과 셀프리더십 향상을 위한 교육으로 적극 활용해야할 것이다.

The purpose of this study was to evaluate the effects of simulation in nursing education using a high-fidelity simulator combined with standard patient on communication competency, problem solving ability, and self-leadership. A total of 69data was analyzed for this study. The study participants were senior nursing students at a University. The experimental group (n=34) comprised participants in a geriatric nursing class, nursing and simulation education using a high-fidelity simulator combined with standard patient. The control group (n=32) participated in a geriatric nursing class and simulation education using a high-fidelity simulator. Data were collected from October 2015 to December 2015 and the data were analyzed using IBM SPSS statistics version 22. The experimental group had statistically significant effect on problem solving ability (p<.005) compared to the control group. With regard to self-leadership, findings showd no significant differences between groups (p=.028). However, the experimental group showed a significant increase in the self-leadership level compared to the control group. Therefore, it is necessary to develop simulation education based on high-fidelity simulator combined with standard patient for improving communication competency, problem solving ability, and self-leadership in nursing curriculums.
