A Study on Cooling System for Effectiveness in the Data Center

Data centers have increased demand with the rapid development of IT industry and business changes of corporations currently. A data center is a centralized repository, either physical or virtual, for the storage, management, and dissemination of data and information organized around a particular body of knowledge or pertaining to a particular business. The importance of cooling load is growing bigger on cooling systems according to power consumption and processing capacity of IT devices in the data center are developed geometrically. Therefore, the purpose of the study is reducing of the cooling load for the IT server room and this study suggested that the cooling load will be reduced through alteration of the outlet of cooling system in data centers with simulation of STAR-CCM to analysis the temperature of the IT sever room.
