A Study on Direction of Public Development and Facility Management of Local Public Enterprise

The current trend on Public Development and Facility Management(FM) has been leaded by local government and local public enterprise. Various development and FM projects, however, reveals a number of limitations on their business process; no concerns about proper business and profit goal, no consideration on the potential volatility of economic and social environment changes, and no studies on reason of long term business management importance of local public enterprise. Thus, this study aims at proposing a proper development and management model which is focused on public sector issues. In addition, the proposed model opens a way of integration of local public business sectors. A model for the specific goals is proposed and then it is implemented to demonstrate its rationality. This model is expected to help to control annual business assessment and has a desirable effect on local government s business decision for development and FM in the near future.
