Objectives:Thisresearchaimstoinvestigatetheconsumer’sinterestintheKoreanMedicine(KM)industrybyusingGoogle-trends andNaver-Datalab. Aquick and uncomplicated way for those who are already involved with KM industry but do not have expertisein utilizing Big-datasearches, isintroduced. Methods:‘Directkey word’ wasset by FGI(FocusGroupInterview) and ‘Detailedkeyword’was set by using relevant words earch and auto complete search function sinthesearchengine.Byinquiring Naver-Datalab, keywords earch volumes are compared by age andsex, daterange, and origina tingregion of the researcher. It is possible to determine whether the data is reliable or authentic through examining the associated query.Selected directkeywords used through FGI(Focus Group Interview) were ‘Acupuncture’, ‘HerbalMedicine’,‘Cupping’,‘MusculoskeletalDisease’, ‘Diet’,and‘Stemina’.Basedonthesekeywords,thefollowingresultswerederived from thekeywordanalysis. Results:From August2016,therewasanoticeablesurgeofinterestinmen s‘Cupping’.Thesearchfor‘Diet’increasedinthe secondquarterof2016from allages.Thesearchvolumeof‘Stemna’forindividualsintheir20sishigherthanthatofthoseintheir 30sor40s’.Researchersfrom theregionofChungcheongbuk-do had ahigherleve lofinterestinanal gesicsandless interest in Korean Medicine. There is agreater interes tinthe KM marketf rom European countries and America, than from Korea, China, and other Asiancountries. Discussion:Despitethelimitation soft here search, it is meaningful to introduce a quick and easy data search method to compare information by age, sex,and region. Conclusion:ThefutureofresearchintoKoreaMedicineandthismarketisconfirmedbyourdataresultswhichindicateinterest from Europe,theUnitedStates,andotherwesterncountries,butlessinterestfrom Korea,ChinaandotherAsiancountries.
