A Study on the Environmental Performance Evaluations of Ecological Architecture

The concept of ecological architecture is induced as a reflection for the serious environmental pollution and damage. New trends of ecological architecture which enables the co-existence of nature and human being is needed to overcome the present risks and prepare new century. Therefore we should develop the environmental assessment methods of building performance in order to evaluate ecological factors and environmental particulars including energy and resources. The results of this paper are followings : 1. The environmental assessment system of building performance can be applied to each case of architectural formation stages. 2. The evaluation should be overall one correlated each assessment item. 3. The assessment items should be definite and concrete for clear distinction. 4. The standards of assessment have to be suitable for the natural features of a region and the state of times.
