A Study on the Satisfaction of Office Furniture and Environment

Social, technological, and organizational changes in corporations have brought changes in the office environment. Office furniture and environment accomplish functions such as efficiency, comport. economy, physical safety, and environmental asceticism. The purpose of this study is to investigate the satisfaction on office furniture and environment. Questionnaires were given to l90 office workers. Data was analyzed using SPSS/PC statistical package applying frequency, percentage, means, t-test, F-test, Duncan s multiple range test, and correlation. The major findings are as follows: 1) office workers evaluated their furniture as good except for the amount of storage and the partition, 2) office workers are generally satisfied with their office environment.
