The asphalt pavement is generally cracked by the weight at cars. Especially TDC(Top-Down Cracking) means asphalt is cleaved flam top to bottom. TDC(Top-Down Cracking) is a little strange to domestic scholar, First the three-dimension Finite Element Modeling(FEM) needs to be developed to study TDC further. When comparing the analytic consequence of FEM with that of the existing model, they rarely have difference. Their difference is only that the existing model is two dimension analytic model. whereas newly developed model is three dimension model. More Studies need to be conducted.
