A study on the growth of Korean democracy

By observing the growth process of democracy, it is said that the democracy firstly began with ten commandments of christian nature and it is based upon justice of the human relationship. Since then, Judaism, Christianity, Islamism, etc. brought about a basic doctrine and it is said that it began on the basis of regulating the relation between the governor and governed, between King and its peoples. On one hand, following the flow of ages, the wised placed continuosly emphasis on the human dignity which requires its needs. As the course of consisting of thesis would be observed, from this view, the democratic concepts and similar type were presented. Among these, as a few similar types of the most representative one would be presented, the examples of standard democracy, empirical democracy, compromising ideal democracy were give. In the historical developmental course of Korean democracy, humanitarian ideal, the position of Confucian ideas, etc. DongHak - one of the educational institutions of four classes - were presented. In Korean democratic system of the autonomous and oughtness characteristics of the representative system, participation system in government, democratic method of life were considered. We should have an attitude of making contribution to economic along with these. In such points, the resettlement of Korean democracy is that the creative efforts constructing the liberal democratic welfare society and materializing the degnified freedom, equality and justice should be preceded.
