조숙 올레인산 고함유 1대잡종 유채 신품종 ‘수안’

A New F 1 Hybrid Variety of Rapeseed ‘Suanʼ with Early Maturing and High Oleic Acid

수안 은 숙기가 빠르고, 올레인산 함량도 높아 바이오디젤 및 식용으로 이용이 가능한 유채로 2006년에 목포-CGMS(웅성불임)과 8634-B-1-3-1-8(임성회복화분친)을 교배하여 2006년부터 2007년까지 생산력 검정시험과, 2008년부터 2009년까지 지역적응시험을 거쳐 육성된 품종이다. 지역적응시험에서 수안 의 수량은 381 kg/10a로 같은 1대잡종인 선망 에 비해 4% 증수되었다. 수안 의 기름함량은 44.3%이고, 지방산중 올레인산의 함량은 68.3%로 ‘선망’에 비해 5.2% 높았으며, 구루코지노레이트 함량은 2.31 mg/g으로 국제허용기준 치인 3.0 mg/g 이하였다. ‘수안’의 엽형은 하부익상전렬, 엽색 및 줄기색은 녹색, 결각은 중간이며, 꽃색은 황색, 종피색은 흑색이다. ‘수안’은 도복과 균핵병 저항성이 대비품종 ‘선망’에 비해 다소 강했다. ‘수안’의 개화기와 성숙기는 4월 9일과 6월 2일로 ‘선망’보다 각각 10일과 6일 빠르다. ‘수안’은 전남, 전북, 및 경남을 포함한 우리나라의 서남부지역에서 이 모작 재배에 유리한 품종이다.

Suan is a new F1 hybrid variety of rapeseed (Brassica napus L.) with early maturing and high oleic acid. This hybrid variety was bred by the cross between Mokpo-CGMS (male sterile line) and 8516-B-5-6-5-3 (restore line) for the production of bio-diesel and edible oil in 2006. Suan has green and parted leaf, yellowish flower, and black seed coat. Suan is more tolerant to lodging and stem rot compared to Sunmang , check variety. The ripening date of Suan is June 2nd which is 6 days earlier than Sunmang . Yield trials were conducted from 2006 to 2007 and regional adaptation trials were examined at five locations each in 2008 and 2009. The average seed yield of regional adaptation trials was 381 kg/10a that was 4% higher than that of Sunmang . Total oil content of Suan was 44.3%. Oleic acid content was 68.3%, which is 5.2% higher than Sunmang but, erucic acid was not detected. Total glucosinolate content was 2.31 mg/g. Therefore, this variety is recommended as a leading variety at southwestern area including Jeonnam, Jeonbuk and Kyongnam provinces of South Korea.
