기하학적 방법을 통한 이차곡선 접선의 작도에 관한 연구

A Study on Construction of Tangent Line of Quadratic Curves Through Geometric Method

고등학교 기하 영역에서 이차곡선은 중요하게 다루어지고 있다. 실제 교수∙학습 상황에서는 대수적인 방법과 해석적인 접근만을 통해 지도하고 있어 학생들은 기하학적 의미를 제대로 파악하지 못하고 있다. 이러한 문제를 극복하고자 기하학적 작도를 활용한 이차곡선을 지도하는 방법에 대한 연구가 활발히 이루어졌다. 하지만기하학적 작도를 활용하여 이차곡선의 접선을 작도하는 연구를 찾는 것은 쉽지 않다. 이 논문은 기하학적 작도를 통하여 이차곡선의 접선을 작도하는 방법과 증명을 제시한다.

School mathematics emphasize that students express the quadratic curves as equation and manipulate it algebraically. Without geometrical learning, students are difficult to understand the geometrical property of quadratic curves. Many researchers suggest a geometric construction for students to explore the quadratic curves. But it is difficult to find a research concerning the geometrical method for teaching a tangent line of the quadratic curves. In this paper, we suggest a construction of tangent line of quadratic curves through geometric method.
