고등학교 특수학급의 현장실습 운영에 대한 특수교사의 경험과 그 의미

The Experience and Meaning of Special Education Teachers in Industry Field Training Conducted for the Special Classes in High School

이 연구의 목적은 현장실습을 운영하고 있는 고등학교 특수학급 교사의 업무 경험과 그 의미를 살펴봄으로써, 고등학교 특수학급에서의 장애학생 진로ㆍ직업교육의 방향에 대한 시사점을 제시하는데 있다. 이를 위해 충남, 대전, 전북 지역의 고등학교 특수학급 담당교사 6 명과 면담을 실시하였으며, 수집된 자료는 Giorgi 의 현상학적 방법으로 분석하였다 . 연구 결과, ‘ 현장실습, 교사의 철학과 역량 따라 ’, ‘ 역량 더하기 지원 ’, ‘ 정책적 의지와 지역단위 네트워킹 ’, ‘ 체계적 현장실습 시스템 구축 ’ 이라는 4 개 상위범주와 11 개 하위 범주 , 26 개의 의미단위를 도출하였다. 고등학교 특수학급의 특수교사들은 어려운 여건 속에서도 특수교육대상학생들의 현장실습을 책무성을 갖고 지원하고 있었다. 그러나 고등학교 특수학급에서의 효율적인 현장실습 운영을 위해서는 개별 교사의 철학과 역량에 의존하기보다 , 전환교육지원센터를 중심으로 한 행ㆍ재정적 지원, 지역단위의 네트워킹, 체계적인 현장실습 시스템 구축 등이 필요한 것으로 나타났다.

This study analyzes the work experience and meaning of high school special class teachers who have industry field training of students with disabilities and provides useful information on industry field training to high school special class teachers. To do this, we conducted in-depth interviews with 6 special class teachers in high schools in Chungnam, Daejeon and Jeonbuk and analyzed them by Giorgi’s phenomenological method. The results of the study as follows; It was deduced to 4 high-ranking categories of ‘The industry field training depends on Teacher’s Philosophy and Competence’, ‘Capabilities plus support’, ‘Will for policy and Regional Networking’, and ‘Systematic industry field training system construction’. 11 subcategories and 26 meaning units also emerged. The special education teachers in high schools were supporting the special education students in industry field training responsibly although their difficult situations. However, what they really need is that the transition education support center should play a key role in providing administrative and financial supports, networking at the local level, and systematic field practice system construction for effective on industry field training in high school.
