초등영재학생을 위한 프로그래밍언어 학습 모형 개발 및 적용

Development and Application of the teaching method for programming Language Education in elementary gifted students

프로그래밍 언어 학습은 학습자의 논리적인 사고력, 창의력과 문제 해결력을 증진시키는데 많은 효과가 있는 것으로 기존의 연구들을 통해 검증되었다. 특히, 초등 정보 영재 학생들의 학습의 효과를 충분히 살리기 위하여 흥미도를 높이고, 또 학업 성취도를 향상시키기 위한 교수-학습 방법에 대한 연구는 거의 없는 실정이다. 본 논문에서는 프로그래밍 언어수업에서 새로운 수업 모형을 제안 하고, 이를 기존의 지시적 수업 모형과의 학업 성취도의 차이, 흥미도 차이를 비교하였다. 분석 결과 학습자의 학업 성취도 차이 있어서 통계적으로 유의미한 차이를 보였으나, 표준 편차가 매우 크게 나타났다. 이것은 학생의 대상이 비교적 우수한 집단이지만 프로그래밍 언어 학습에 대한 학습자간 개인차에 기인한 것으로 보인다. 또한, 흥미도의 차이는 유의미한 차이가 없는 것으로 분석되었다.

Programming language education helps not only understanding computer itself, but also increasing logical thinking, creativity and problem solving skills. In particular, these effective of the elementary gifted education are related to teaching methods. The purpose of this paper is to develop a teaching model for programming language education and to examine the effects of its application. We applied both one of the existing models and the proposed one to academic field and used academic achievement assessment paper and programming language interest questionnaire to measure the change in academic achievement and in programming language interest by the teaching methods.
