In this study, the data of Subjective mental health(fairly depressed) and Overall satisfaction of life, which meets the purpose of this study were extracted and set as dependent variables. First, examined the differences through ANOVA analysis for the subjective mental health and overall satisfaction of the group of own house, Chonsei, monthly rent groupⅠ, monthly rent groupⅡ. Next, disposable income, the amount of housing related liabilities, the monthly rent amount, monthly housing cost, debt interest rate of householder were set as independent variables and the impact analysis was carried out through correlation analysis and regression analysis for each factor of the housing cost burden were analyzed between the dependent and the independent variables. The results are as follows. First, the monthly rent groupⅡ showed more depression and lower overall satisfaction in the subjective mental health compared to the own house, Chonsei, monthly rent groupⅠ. Second, disposable income (0.289) was the most influential factor in the housing cost burden affecting subjective mental health, followed by housing related debt (-0.198). Third, disposable income (0.299) is the most influential factor which affects the overall satisfaction of life, and the amount of housing related debt (-0.263) is in order. The implication of this study is to analyze the correlation and influence of each factor on the housing cost burden of the low income households and this study is significant in that it analyzed the determinants of health affecting subjective mental health and life satisfaction.
