How Can Change be Possible?: Activism and New Educational Paradigm

이 시절의 변화는 어디로부터, 변화의 동력은 어디에서부터 가능한가? 근대인문의 중심개념이 자아(ego)라는 개념이었지만 이제는 self politics, self democracy, self governing과 같은 자아(self)의 시절이다. self는 자연성과 사회성이라는 관계적 개념이며 여기에서 바로 변화의 추동력이 나온다. 또한 이러한 self가 유기적 집합체로서 crowd sourcing과 같은 crowd 가 새롭게 등장하고 있다. 아무나 모여도 되는 crowd가 아니라 self가 기본이 되는 crowd들이 새롭게 근본적 변화(radical change)의 주체로 등장하고 있다. 아직 행동주의에 대한 개념이 정리된 것은 아니지만 행동주의는 신자유주의 이후의 새로운 철학적 사조로 등장할 가능성이 높다는 점에서 주목할 필요가 있다. 과거의 행동주의는 그것이 정당 조직에 의해 서건 사회운동 조직에 의해서건 이데올로기적 실천이나 조직적 실천을 위함이었으나 지금 나타나고 있는 행동주의는 탈 이데올로기, 탈조직적 행동이란 점에서 무형적 행동주의이다. 앞으로 새로운 사회구성의 힘은 영웅과 같은 조직의 지도자에 의해서 혹은 엄청나게 뛰어난 아이디어로 조직되고 이끌어질 수 있는 것이 아니다. 조합주의 조직이나 혁명적 조직과 같은 조직으로 담아낼 수 있는 것도 아니다. 무조직인데 어떤 조직보다 강고하게 움직이고, 다양한 형태로 진행되고 있다. 이와 관련해서 흔히 소셜네트워크와 같은 SNS의 역할을 많이 강조하는데, 이것은 미디어와 SNS의 역할을 과대 포장한 이야기이다. 행동주의는 SNS가 아니어도 사람을 통해서 심금을 통해서 이심전심으로 전파되는 것이다. 사람이 미 디어다. 이것이 행동주의의 근본적 힘이며, 새로운 교육적 패러다임의 폭발력이다.

From where do these changes come, and where can the power of change come from? The concept of the center of modern humanity was the concept of ego, but now it is the time of self such as self politics, self democracy, self governing. Self is a relational concept of nature and sociality, and here comes the impetus for change. Also, crowd like crowd sourcing is newly emerging as an organic aggregate of self. The crowd, which is based on self, is emerging as the subject of radical change, not crowd that anyone can gather. Activism is not yet clearly defined, but it attracts attention in that it is likely to emerge as a new philosophical after neo-liberalism. Past activism is either for ideological practice or organizational practice-whether it is by party organization or social movement organization-but now activism is intangible, amorphous in terms of de-ideology. In the future, the power of a new social organization can not be organized and led by leaders of organizations like heroes, or with superb ideas. It is not something that can be brought to an organization like a corporatist organization or a revolutionary organization. It is a non-organization, moving more strongly than any organization, and is progressing in various forms. In this regard, we often emphasize the role of social media such as social networks. This is an over-packed story about the role of media and social networks. Activism is not an SNS but it is propagated through a person through a heart to a heartwarming mind. The human is the media. This is the fundamental power of activism and the explosive power of the new educational paradigm.
