코퍼스 기반 교대생의 초등영어수업 수업감상문에 나타난 초점의 대상 연구:

The purpose of this study is to find appraisal words through reflective observation papers written by pre-service teachers and conduct a corpus-based analysis of their text. By utilizing 15 appraisal words, 5 teachers’ elementary English classes were evaluated and reflected on. Through the reflection process, the attitudes that emerged resembled ‘rightness of fit’ feelings. The results indicate that pre-service teachers’ focus and attention on elementary school English classes are mostly about teaching strategies, including organizing practices and activities in addition to teacher’s creative and effective use of materials. Even though pre-service teachers’ perspective on English classes looks limited, the results of analysis suggest that having them write reflective observation papers contributes to the development of connoisseurship and experiential knowledge in teaching as a professional practice.
