학교 진로교육에서 니체 철학이 갖는 함의

The Implications of Nietzsche s Philosophy for the Career Education in School

The 2015 Revised National Curriculum focuses on the cultivation of talent equipped with ‘self-management competency growing into an owner of his/her own life based on the establishment of self-identity and career design’. However, the career education in school is not contributing to the personal maturement of students. The process of this study was like below. ChapterⅡ pointed out that the career education in school was neglecting a study on self-identity. ChapterⅢ strengthened the philosophical basis of discussion by reviewing Nietzsche s perspective on possession and existence. Chapter Ⅳ examined the nature of “pathos of distance” and emphasized the subject s self-overcoming. Based on it, the self-management competency that could overcome problems with the current career education in school was suggested in two aspects. First, it is the ‘power of affirming oneself and willingness of the hierarchy of souls’. Second, it is the ‘resilience to take suffering as a foundation of creation’. The conclusion re-verified the fact that Nietzsche s criticism of modern educational institutes was not much different from problems with the current career education in school. After that, the educational efforts required for us were discussed.
