정서 사회 시스템 향상을 위한 신경학적 무용동작치료 연구

Neurological Dance movement therapy study for the emotional-social system improvement

본 연구는 무용동작치료가 복합외상 피해자들의 정서 사회적 참여 시스템의 향상을 위한 신경학적 DMT 형식으로 특별한 과정을 제공할 수 있다고 보는 데서 시작되었다. Polyvagal 이론에 기초하여, DMT의 요소는 사회 참여 시스템을 자극하는 바이오 프로세스의 과정으로 진행하였다. 복합 외상으로 인해 감정적인 사회 시스템을 운영하는데 어려움을 겪고 있는 대상자들을 중심으로 14주간 매회기 2시간 과정으로 이루어졌다. 12명의 참가자가 3차례 뇌파 측정을 받았으며, 각 뇌파의 절대 파워와 SEF50% 및 알파 SEF50%에 미치는 영향을 확인하기 위해 프로그램 전후에 뇌파를 측정하고 분석하였다. 연구 결과는 첫째, 각 뇌파 대역의 변화 패턴과 뇌의 특정 영역에서 의미 있는 변화가 관찰되었다. 둘째, 세타웨이브와 알파 웨이브는 프로그램이 끝난 후 참가자 뇌의 전두엽에서 증가하였지만 뇌의 다른 영역에서는 감소했다. 셋째, 프로그램 후 참가자의 알파파는 뇌의 감정이 편안해지면서 증가하였는데 신경학적 DMT 프로그램은 전전두엽에 대한 쎄타 리듬의 증가로 이완되는 효과를 나타냈다. 넷째, 뇌의 기능에 결정적인 알파 SEF50%는 실험 그룹에서 프로그램 이전보다 측정된 수치가 사후에 증가하였다. 이러한 결과를 고려할 때, 신경학적 DMT가 복합외상 피해자의 정서적 사회 시스템에 영향을 미치는 것으로 사료된다.

This study was initiated from the belief that dance movement therapy can provide a special course as in a format of neurological DMT, to improve the system for social participation of the client. Based on the Polyvagal theory, the elements of DMT can be considered as the course of bio process that stimulates social participation system. DMT programs carried out for the clients with complex external injuries who have difficulties in operating their emotional social system to verify the effectiveness of neurological DMT study for 2 hours a week for 14 weeks. From the result, first, the variation pattern for each brain wave bands was identified and meaningful changes in particular areas of their brain were observed. Second, the theta wave and alpha wave increased in the pre-frontal of participants brain after the program but it is decreased in the other areas of the brain. Third, the increase of the theta rhythm on pre frontal after program which shows breathing and relaxation through DMT have same effects as meditation. Fourth, the Alpha SEF50% which is crucial to the brain to function has increased after the program compared to the number measured before the program in the experimental group. In light of these results, it is considered that neurological DMT would affect the emotional social system of the clients.
