예비교원교육을 위한 컴퓨터 기반 협력 스크립트의 적용사례 연구

Study on the Implementation of Computer Supported Collaboration Scripts for Pre-Service Teachers

이 연구는 예비교원교육을 위한 컴퓨터 기반 협력 스크립트를 수업에 적용한 결과에 대한 것이다. 적용한 스크립트는 이론적 이해를 형성하기 위한 ConceptGrid 스크립트, 논쟁 스킬을 강화하기 위한 Arguegraph 스크립트, 동료 평가 활동을 지원 하기 위한 IceCube 스크립트이다. 스크립트는 4학년 대학생을 대상으로 한 교직 과목인 ‘교육방법 및 교육공학’ 수업에 순차적으로 적용되었으며, 각각 교육 관련 개념 및 학습이론에 대한 이해, 교육 문제에 대한 논쟁 능력, 수업설계 및 운영 능력을 강화하기 위한 목적으로 활용되었다. 적용 결과 ConceptGrid 스크립트는 제시된 개념 및 개념간 관계, 학습이론에 대한 심도 있는 이해를 도왔으며, 논의한 내용을 시각화하는 활동이 유익했던 것으로 나타났다. 그러나 학습자들의 선수지식 부족으로 인하여 과도한 혼란과 불안감을 느끼게 되었다는 점이 나타났으며, 이를 개선하기 위해 적절한 수준의 교수자의 피드백이 요구되었다. ArgueGraph 스크립트를 통해 학습자들은 합리적 논증 활동에 대한 학습, 토론 참여자들의 역할 및 태도에 대하여 배우게 되었고, 좋은 수업에 대한 실제적인 고민을 하게 되었음을 알 수 있었다. 스크립트를 통해 각자의 역할과 단계를 명확히 함으로써 효율적이고 효과적인 논의가 가능했다는 점이 유익하였으나, 역할에 대한 사전 학습이 보다 충실하게 이루어져야 한다는 의견이 있었다. IceCube 스크립트 적용 결과 학습자들은 셀프코칭과 동료 피드백의 기회를 통해 비판적 사고능력을 강화시킬 수 있었으나, 과제 완성 과정에서의 교수자 지원 및 긍정적 피드백의 필요성 등이 요구되었다.

This study examines the implementation of computer-supported collaboration scripts (CSCS) for pre-service teachers. These scripts include the ConceptGrid script to establish a theoretical understanding, the ArgueGraph script to enhance argument skills, and the IceCube script to support peer evaluation activities. The scripts were implemented during a semester of Educational technology course for college seniors. They were used to enhance the understanding of each education-related concept and learning theory, argument skills about education issues, and the ability to design and conduct a lesson. As a result, the ConceptGrid script contributed to an in-depth understanding of the given concepts and inter-concept relations as well as learning theories, and the visualization of the discussed contents proved to be an instructive activity. However, the learners felt excessive confusion and anxiety due to a lack of prior knowledge, which required an appropriate level of feedback from instructors. Through the ArgueGraph script, students were able to learn about rational reasoning activities as well as the role and attitude of participants in the debate, while also taking more practical consideration of what constitutes a good lesson. The script was useful in that it enabled the learners to have efficient and effective debates by clarifying each of their roles and phases, although some students thought that it required learning beforehand about the roles. As a result of applying the IceCube script, the learners were able to enhance critical ability through self-coaching and peer feedback opportunities. However, the script required instructor s support related to task as well as positive feedback.
