아동이 지각한 부모의 양육방식과 아동의 학업성취 간 관계에서 학습습관이 미치는 매개 효과 탐색

Themediating effects of study habit between the parenting style perceived by children and their study achievement

본 연구는 초등학교 아동이 지각한 부모의 양육방식과 아동의 학업성취 간 관계에서 학습습관의 매개효과가 어떠한 영향을 미치는지 알아보는데 목적이 있다. 한국아동·청소년패널조사(KCYPS)에서 제공한 데이터를 중심으로 초등학교 4학년 2,261 명을 대상으로 분석한 결과, 첫째, 아동이 지각한 부모의 양육방식이 아동의 학업성취에 통계적으로 유의미한 영향을 미치지 않는 것으로 나타났다. 둘째, 아동이 지각한 부모의 양육 방식이 학습습관에 미치는 영향은 통계적으로 유의한 것으로 나타 났으며, 아동의 학습습관이 학업성취에 미치는 영향 역시 통계적으로 유의한 것으로 나타났다. 셋째, 아동이 지각한 부모의 양육방식이 학업성취에 영향을 미칠 때, 아동의 학습습관은 매개효과가 있는 것으로 나타났다. 넷째, 초등학교 아동이 지각한 부 모의 양육방식과 아동의 학업성취 및 학습습관 간의 구조적 관계에 있어서 성별에 따른 경로계수는 통계적으로 유의미한 차이가 있었다.

The purpose of this study is to understand how study habit mediate a relation between the parenting style perceived by children and their study achievement. We analysed 2261 elementary forth-grade children s data from being provided by KCYPS. The results of this research were as follow. First, it is showed that the parenting style perceived by children has significant effects on their study achievement. In addition, it is revealed that the parenting style perceived by children positively influences their study habit, thereby it significantly affects study achievement. Also, In the mediating model, the indirect effects of children s study habit significantly appeared. Finally, it is found that the path coefficient between man and woman in this structual relations statistically makes significant difference.
