This study identified predictive factors for canine distemper in 80 dogs clinically suspected. Hard pad in feet was the most predictive clinical sign: canine distemper was confirmed in 80% of dogs showing hard pad (95% confidence interval, CI=44.94～100%). However, no significant difference was observed by type of clinical sign. Canine distemper was less predictable in dogs aged 8 months and more, comparing to puppies aged 2～4 months (Odds ratio=0.27, 95% CI=0.08~0.95).
