A Narrative of The Day of Elementary School Teacher

이 연구는 초등학교 교사들이 일상적인 하루를 어떻게 지내는가를 살펴보기 위해서 이루어진 연구로 교사들 자신의 이야기를 중심으로 구성한 것이다. 연구결과에 의하면 초등학교 교사들은 매우 바쁜 하루를 보내고 있었다. 일산적인 하루에서 특히 교사들을 바쁘게 만드는 것은 상급기관인 교육청의 이런저런 지시와 장학지도였다. 그리고 학부모들의 지나친 관심과 오해는 교사들의 하루를 바쁘게 혹은 힘들게 만들고 있었다. 교사들은 하나같이 가르치는 일에만 전념할 수 있다면 아무리 바쁜 일과를 보낸다 하더라도 어려움은 견뎌낼 수 있을 것이라 하고 있었다. 힘들고 지친 하루 일과 속에서 교사들에게 보람을 주는 일도 있었다.

This article was to investigate how elementary school teachers work daily and was constructed by the stories that teachers told. The result shows that school teachers had very busy daily works. The works that make teacher busy especially were various directions and supervision of educational administration. And parents deep concern about their children often make teacher exhausted and sometimes their misunderstanding about teacher s discipline make them exhausted too. Every teacher wants to do his best to their original job to teach their students, and then they could be tolerable any troubles. But something give them a sense of satisfaction in spite of busy and hard daily works.
