경력에 따른 영아교사의 성격강점에 대한 요구분석

The Needs Analysis of Character Strengths of Infant Teacher According to Career

본 연구에서는 영아교사의 경력에 따라 요구되는 성격강점을 분석하고, 우선적으로 개발해야 할 성격강점을 파악하고자 하였다. 이를 위해서 영아교사 220명을 대상으로 성격강점의 필요수준, 현재수준을 분석하여 이를 바탕으로 보리치(Borich)와 The Locus for Focus 모델 공식을 통해 요구도를 분석하였다. 본 연구결과는 다음 과 같다. 첫째, 초임영아교사가 요구하는 성격강점은 통찰, 끈기, 활력, 자기조절, 공정성의 5가지로 나타났다. 둘째, 경력영아교사가 요구하는 성격강점은 창의성, 호기심, 개방성, 신중성, 자기조절, 리더십의 6가지로 나타났다. 본 연구의 결과는 영아교사의 경력에 따라 다르게 요구되는 성격강점을 파악하여 경력에 맞게 성격강점을 증진시켜줄 수 있는 교육의 방향을 제시해야 함을 시사한다.

The purpose of this study was to purpose fundamental data which can be used for the education and program for infant teachers according to career. Then, this study was to investigate the character strengths to be developed as a priority. Data were collected through a needs analysis of Borich and The Locus for Focus model formula. The results are as follows. first, character strengths that novice infant teachers need to be developed in the insight, persistence, vitality, self-control and fairness. second, character strengths that experienced teachers need to be developed in the creativity, curiosity, openness, prudence, self-control and leadership. The results of the study suggest that education and program should provide direction that can enhance the character strengths that need to infant s teacher career.
